Will India ever return to Springfield? I really miss Mary Kay Adams! She and Ron Raines (Alan) had enormous chemistry! Any info on what Mary Kay has been up to lately? — Just Curious

Here's the 411: While India hasn't been on the GL canvas since she left Phillip and Harley's dinner party with Alan in August 1999, Mary Kay Adams is ready and willing to step back into the role. "India never said 'I'm gone,'" says Adams, who has hopes the character will make her way back to Springfield. Since then, Adams has been keeping herself busy performing on stage and traveling on the science-fiction circuit with Deep Space Nine and Babylon 5. She is also learning American Sign Language. But the New York-based actress would make time to return to GL. "I'm still available," says Adams with a chuckle. Newly reinstated GL head writer Claire Labine take note: Finding a storyline for India wouldn't be too difficult. She could come back to town to lay claim on Alan and give Claire a run for her money.
